The Nick Hickman

Is a rising Singer/Songwriter hailing from Knoxville, TN and currently living in Nashville, TN where he is enthusiastically pursuing his music career.

I met up with Nick at a local event I attended at the request of an avid fan of his (one of many). I was unprepared for his charisma, star quality good looks and smooth, sultry voice.

Nick’s rhythmatic lyrics draw you in and keep you enthralled to the very last note! While I enjoyed his performance of cover songs, it was his songs which influenced me to write this article. I was unable to speak with Nick that night personally, so I left my card with said avid fan and asked her to pass it along. He contacted me within a matter of days and provided me with his extremely impressive regional and national recognition and success!

Nick’s talent for captivating the audience and mesmerizing them with his words is probably why he’s opened for Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, Eli Young Band, Jason Aldean and many more. Nick’s new EP Let Em Speak features six (6) songs, his newest “Live For Tonight” which premiered on country radio yesterday Aug. 14th 2017 is an amazing example and showcase of his vocal and instrumental brilliance. His EP “Let Em Speak” and last single “Tipsy” he described in an interview with countrymusicnotes.blogspot.com

“It’s called Let Em Speak and it’s me. That’s probably the easiest way to describe it. It’s 100% me. My last EP. . .I usually tend to write more fun, up-tempo, hooky songs.  Songs like “Summertime Southern Style” and “Tailgate Dancefloor.” You know, I’m all about that. But with this current one, I was a little more vulnerable with “Tipsy” and “Bottle Away.” I kind of gave people a peek into what I went through because “Tipsy” is a literal story of something I went through. So people get a chance to see a part of what happened in real time.”

#HEMMAG believes Nick Hickman has a great future in country music. To know him, is to meet a genuinely talented, transparent performer who can sing/write anything from party songs to heart string tuggers and we have no doubt you’ll sell out that arena one day! We look forward to following your successful career and updating our readers along the way!
